How the locked rate works
Your founding monthly rate remains locked while the founding subscription stays continuously active. A failed renewal receives a 5-day grace period so you can correct an expired or declined payment method.
If you cancel, or payment is not restored during that 5-day grace period, the founding price is permanently forfeited. Your activated seat remains part of the original 500 and does not reopen.
Important Founding 500 terms
- The Founding 500 is one shared pool for eligible DogJabber providers and claimed businesses.
- Seats 1–250 receive the first founding monthly rate shown before checkout. Seats 251–500 receive the second founding monthly rate shown before checkout.
- The locked monthly rate remains available while the founding subscription remains continuously active. If a renewal payment fails, DogJabber provides a 5-day billing grace period to fix the payment method. If payment is not restored within that grace period, the founding rate is permanently forfeited.
- An activated founding seat is permanently consumed. Canceled founding subscriptions do not reopen old seats.
- Unpaid checkout reservations expire automatically and return that unactivated seat to the available pool.
- Activated founders receive permanent Founding 500 recognition, a numbered founder record, the official Founding 500 badge on their provider/business profile, a permanent place in DogJabber’s Founders directory, and a permanent Founding 500 highlight whenever the listing appears in DogJabber directory/search results. Founding status does not change normal city-result ranking priority.
- Marketplace transaction fees are separate from the monthly founding subscription and are shown before checkout and in the account’s DogJabber plan.
- DogJabber may suspend or remove listings for fraud, illegality, closure, safety, abuse, or violation of platform rules without creating a replacement founding seat.
